In Aqua Garden's second mission, the player must avoid pushing the bubbles into the Baloogas, or else the Baloogas will pop the bubble up.

In Aqua Garden's fourth mission, the Baloogas will try to attack Helen as she tries to find NiGHTS. Helen can protect herself from the Baloogas by tossing Blue Chips at them.

Defeating a Balooga will add 100 points for the player's score.

English bio (Journey of Dreams)[]

"Ballooga is a puffer fish found swimming through the skies. Whenever you get too close to it, it puffs itself up and extends its spines. If the spines catch you, you lose 5 seconds off the timer. Wait until the Ballooga retracts its spines before you use any attacks that require you to touch it."[1]
