The report of the existence of the Great Mother.
During the development of NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams, famous NiGHTS fans Lynne Triplett and DiGi Valentine would receive information about the game directly from Sonic Team and post it on their website.[1] Among the reports, they were informed that a character known as "The Great Mother" would appear in the game as a counterpart to Wizeman.[1] However, when the game was released, the Great Mother was nowhere to be found. As the Great Mother was described as the counterpart to Wizeman, she was presumably the queen of Nightopia and the goddess of dreams, opposing to Wizeman, who is the king of Nightmaren and god of Nightmare.
